Our Story
3WU is a brand and multimedia platform, catered by and for inner-city Muslims made up from cultures around the world. Founded originally in 2015 with the release of West Is My Home, 3rd World United has since grown into the retail space as well as becoming one of the leading distributors for Muslim content globally. Our mission is to break cultural barriers by generating Islamic content that highlights and empowers Muslims around the world. Our vision is to unite the world through Islamic principles. 3rd World United has long been known for its contribution to society through multimedia. Our narrative is our most powerful tool to uplift our voices, shift perspectives, share information, and build community. While Nasheeds (music without instruments) has been our eccentric commodity and preliminary entrance into the world of content, we’ve since expanded to generate a plethora of content. 3WU currently has multiple artists signed to production deals and is working with artists and athletes to further mature the brand identity. Being Muslim today is revolutionary and rebellious, considering many of the foundational pillars of Islam are contrary to what is currently being advertised and taught. 3rd World United celebrates those who never compromise for instant gratification to accomplish the temporary but instead endure the straight path to earn the eternal.
